The Framework

10 capabilities. 6 themes. One framework for future-ready leadership.

Every assessment question, coaching conversation, tool and resource in advantAIge maps to one of these capabilities. Built from research and refined through practice. Calibrated by seniority so the standard reflects what is genuinely expected at your level.

The six capability themes

Each theme covers two of the ten assessed capabilities. The themes are designed to reflect what modern leadership actually demands — not just functional skill, but the capacity to operate effectively in a complex, AI-augmented environment.

01

Personal Effectiveness & Mindset

The foundational layer. Leaders who operate at their best under pressure, manage their energy deliberately and build habits that compound over time. This theme covers self-awareness, resilience, focus and the discipline to lead yourself before you lead others.

02

Navigating Disruption, Risk & the Digital Age

The context has changed. AI fluency is now a core leadership requirement, not a specialist skill. This theme measures how leaders read technological change, make decisions under uncertainty and build organisations that adapt rather than resist.

03

Trusted Thinking & Confident Influence

Thinking quality and communication quality determine influence. This theme covers how leaders structure their reasoning, present with clarity and lead through persuasion rather than authority. Ethical judgement sits here — the capacity to make sound decisions when the right answer is not obvious.

04

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Leadership is relational. This theme measures the capabilities that build trust across levels and functions — how leaders develop others, manage upward and lateral relationships, navigate politics and build the kind of credibility that outlasts any single role.

05

Strategic Thinking & Value Creation

Strategy is not a document. It is a set of choices made consistently under pressure. This theme covers how leaders think at the system level, translate ambition into direction and make resource decisions that create disproportionate value.

06

Execution & Organisation Management

Where strategy meets reality. The most sophisticated thinking produces nothing without the capacity to translate intent into action. This theme measures how leaders create clarity, build operating cadence, manage performance and sustain momentum across their organisation.

Assessment Methodology

Scenario-based. Seniority-calibrated. Scored against what is expected at your level.

The assessment presents 30 real-world leadership scenarios — three per capability. Each scenario asks how you would respond in a specific situation. Your responses are scored against a seniority-calibrated benchmark, so the result reflects what is genuinely expected of someone at your level, not a generic standard.

A brief context interview before the assessment captures your role, seniority and working environment. This ensures the scoring is relevant to your actual context.
